Generation of pulsed structured beams with laser seeding techniques

Pulsed structured light is typically generated through extracavity beam shaping, while methods for directly producing it within the laser cavity have been less explored. This study investigates the feasibility of using laser seeding technology to generate pulsed spatially structured light fields. By injecting a structured laser seed beam into the main laser cavity, we examine its ability to directly influence the spatial pattern of the generated pulsed light. Experimental results demonstrate the successful induction of several low-order laser modes with spatial structures, such as Hermite-Gaussian modes: HG1,0 and HG2,0 modes. Future research will focus on achieving stable pulsed structured laser output and extending this method to generate pulsed structured light with arbitrary spatial distributions.
