Precocidade e produção de genótipos experimentais e comerciais de morangueiro em sistema semi-hidropônico recirculante
The knowledge of the behavior and production of experimental cultivars and genotypes under conditions of medium altitude and higher air temperature is essential to expand strawberry productive areas and maintain traditional cultivation areas for greater food security in the face of climate change and sustainability of agroecosystems. Twelve genotypes were evaluated among cultivars and experimental hybrids with neutral and short days in a medium altitude region (475 m). The short-day genotypes FSCR105 and day-neutral Gaia are the earliest, while Monterey, Camiño Real, and Camarosa are the latest. The Gaya hybrid has a higher production than San Andreas and Albion, with the additional advantage of producing a greater quantity of fruits per plant in the warmer months of the year. Short-day cultivars Camarosa and Jônica and the hybrid Ceres maintain or even surpass production when compared to other genotypes with the same reaction to photoperiod in months with average maximum temperatures above 28 ºC. The stolon production of the genotypes is concentrated in the months of January to March.
