CHILDREN IN THE WORLD OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND MARKET GLOBALIZATION

The article highlights the ideas of representatives of humanistic pedagogy on the problem of manifestations and consequences of globalization processes in the world. The author states that it is currently impossible to determine a single model of globalization, because this process affects trends in various spheres of society, in particular: globalization of finance, which consists in the deregulation of financial markets, international capital mobility and an increase in mergers and acquisitions; globalization of markets and strategies, in particular competition in the context of the integration of economic activity on a global scale, the establishment of complex activities beyond their borders; globalization of technologies, especially information and telecommunications, the development of research, development and knowledge, promoting the development of global networks; globalization of lifestyles and consumption patterns, as well as the globalization of culture, which is a consequence of the enormous role of the media, which leads to the leveling of consumption patterns and the transformation of “cultural products and samples”, globalization of management and legal regulation, reducing the role of national governments and parliaments, which leads to the creation of a new generation of global governance rules and institutions; globalization as a political unification of the world, as evidenced by the analysis of the integration of world societies into the global political and economic system, which will be led by the dominant power; globalization of perception and consciousness, which is expressed in socio-cultural processes. In the educational sphere, globalization processes help children avoid family and environmental poverty and contribute to the introduction of programs to combat alcoholism and other addictions in the family. It has been proven that globalization affects education, which orients its educational goals on forming a “global consciousness” in the younger generation. It has been found that education is a factor that makes people realize the differences that exist in the world between nations, cultures, religions, etc. while avoiding their assessment in favor of cooperation with people with different cultural codes. It has been proven that education should help a child master the experience of the pluralism of human cultures, understand them, and overcome the feeling of uncertainty. At the same time, digital technologies do not deepen existing social differences. On the contrary, they contribute to strengthening social ties by ensuring the intensity of communication.
