ODESSA MILITARY AVIATION SCHOOL OF PILOTS IN THE PROCESS OF TRAINING AIR ACERS OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR ON THE TERRITORY OF THE KYRGYZ SSR
During the Great Patriotic War, the Soviet military-political leadership chose the Kyrgyz SSR as one of the sites for the deployment of several military educational institutions of the Red Army. Among them, two military aviation schools occupied a special place. History of training aviation personnel for the active army in the period 1941–1945 to this day remains undisclosed, although it is of practical interest, since it represents the experience of interaction between the central bodies of military command and the power structures of Kyrgyzstan in the process of training and education of flight personnel. The Odessa Military Aviation School of Pilots, relocated to the Kyrgyz SSR in 1941, demonstrated a high level of training of pilots who were distinguished by high moral and combat qualities and the ability to fight a strong enemy.
