ABAI’S WORK IS IN THE KYRGYZ MEDIA

The article analyzes the materials published in the mass media of Kyrgyzstan about Abai’s creative and life path, related events, about bringing them to readers, about their forms and genre features. The most significant periods of his life and work are also revealed through a retrospective review of the translations of the great poet and educator from the 1920s, his translators. It is concluded that Abai’s works are also popular among Kyrgyz readers, as well as the works of masters of the national artistic word, they have had and continue to have a huge impact not only on our fiction, our philosophical and aesthetic treasure of thought, but also on the development of domestic mass media.
