Electromagnetic properties of protective screens to reduce the impact of electromagnetic radiation on operators of wearable UAV supression devices
The issues related to the need to organize anti-drone combat using electronic warfare methods are considered. The results obtained by modeling for a typical element of UAV suppression devices showed the presence of parasitic radiation towards the operator. Possible negative effects of electromagnetic radiation on the operator's health are shown. A method for protecting the operator with a metal screen coated with a composite based on carbonyl iron in a polymer matrix is proposed. The electromagnetic characteristics of the proposed protective device are experimentally studied. The reflection coefficient at the selected optimal thickness is modeled. The developed protective screen allows for significant suppression of this radiation without deteriorating the tactical and technical characteristics of the suppression device.
