INFORMATION SOCIETY: DEVELOPMENT, ACHIEVEMENTS, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS

The article briefly analyzes the development of information society: its stages, peculiarities, achievements, problems and prospects. It is noted that information communication and labor contributed to the gradual evolution of primitive man into modern people. Thanks to storage and transmission of information in the form of hieroglyphs, alphabet and writing, culture, science, agriculture, construction of cities and flourishing trade began to develop. Information becomes the main product of production of information society, which has united mankind all over the world and is the fundamental basis for prosperity in economic, political, scientific and cultural spheres of any state.
