PECULIARITIES OF TRANSLATION OF SOMATIC PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN EPIC “MANAS”

The article considers the methods concerning the peculiarities of translation of somatic phraseological units, which represent a complex linguistic unit inherited from our ancestors and reflecting the life of the people, traditions, morals, beliefs. Often it is impossible to understand the meaning of some stable word combinations, as their meaning is not determined by the meaning of individual words, so a certain approach to the studied phenomenon is necessary to convey to students the meaning of the phraseological turn. When translating, it is important not to distort the content of the phrase combination, to note significant interlingual similarities and differences, using a different approach to the generalization of the material, emphasizing the semantic similarity of some stable expressions.
