PROSPECTS FOR THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE ACTIVITIES OF A JOURNALIST

Artificial intelligence has become a part of society in much the same way as the Internet about thirty years ago. The main reason lies in certain advantages of use. Without the World Wide Web, the workflow of most specialists today is impossible to imagine, while artificial intelligence still acts as an assistant, which is not mandatory for use. But it is gradually moving out of the category of entertainment services, is actively used in the professional environment (including journalism) and trust in it is growing. If in 2019–2021 people in different countries doubted the expediency of using artificial intelligence, then by 2024 the situation had changed, as universal satisfaction with the generative capabilities of services and programs using neural networks as the main technology for creating content was revealed.
