HISTORICAL CONTEXT OF THE FORMATION OF CHUI REGION

This article presents a brief history of the development of Chui Region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The main focus is on the historical changes in the region from the Soviet period to the establishment of the modern independent country. The years in which the districts of Chui Region underwent administrative changes are discussed. The cities of Tokmok, Kara-Balta and Kant were identified as the main industrial centers, which were designated as promising centers of industry that played a significant role in the development of the country in the history of the Fatherland. Knowledge of the history of the region is important for every young researcher.
