Analysis and Design of Multistorey Apartment Building by using STAAD.PRO

STAAD or (STAAD.Pro) is a structural analysis and design computer program originally developed by Research Engineers International in Yorba Linda, CA. In late 2005, Research Engineer International was bought by Bentley Systems. The collected data is analyzed and a 3-D model is generated using STAAD Pro. The various loads acting on the structure is calculated and the structure is analyzed for the various load combinations. Design of the building is done. The obtained results are analyzed. Manual calculation and design of slabs, beams, staircase and columns are done.
