Quasi Particles Lose Energy in Materials

As the title suggests, a unified concept for quasi particles losing energy in materials when traversing through them, is described in this short communication. Examples of thermal silicon dioxide and silicon are taken to describe the above with the known knowledge of the same for photons in liquids.
