ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY OF IMPLEMENTING AUTOMATED QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEMS AT INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES
Modern industrial production requires enterprises not only to comply with quality standards but also to minimize costs while maintaining high production efficiency. This article examines the economic rationale for introducing automated quality control systems (AQCS) as part of a digital transformation strategy. It analyzes both direct and indirect effects of AQCS implementation, such as reduced defect rates, optimized control costs, increased productivity, and enhanced consumer trust. A model for evaluating economic efficiency is developed based on ROI, TCO, and payback period, taking into account industry and technological specifics. Scenario calculations and empirical data are presented, confirming the effectiveness of transitioning to digital quality control in industrial enterprises.
