It analyses domestic legislative frameworks and proposes ways to improve these laws while addressing the practical challenges they present. Through comparative legal research, the article highlights both the similarities and differences between national practices and internationally recognised models. Additionally, the study reviews court rulings related to the denial of parole for life-sentenced prisoners. The recommendations, conclusions and provisions developed in this paper aim to facilitate the scientific research process on this subject for interested individuals and assist legal practitioners working in the field, offering practical insights for their work.
