Facilitating Listening Skills in Children Who Are Visually Impaired With Additional Disabilities or Deafblindness
This Practice Report discusses specific ways to gather information on a child's use of hearing, enhance the listening environment, and facilitate children's listening and comprehension skills. Strategies are drawn from the authors' experiences with children who are acquiring language, children with visual impairments and additional disabilities including those who are deafblind, and training practitioners to work with these populations.
