BRINQUEDOS E BRINCADEIRAS NA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
ABSTRACT This article discusses how important toys and games are in Early Childhood Education and how much the teacher makes a difference in the student’s life. Early Childhood Education is the phase in which the child develops and, in this phase, he or she initially develops the ability to play, which is part not only of the child’s childhood universe, but of the adult’s as well. It is in this phase that we assess learning, guaranteeing the child access to processes of appropriation, renewal and articulation of knowledge and learning, as well as the right to protection, health, freedom, trust, respect, dignity, play, coexistence and interaction with other children and the first friendships and the opportunity to live with children and adults who are not part of their family, but who also contribute to the formation of the Self, developing the intellectual, emotional, social and motor aspects. Toys and games are the perfect combination for children’s daily lives in the school environment, a space that will provide the development of multiple intelligences: logical-mathematical, linguistic, musical, spatial, corporal kinesthetic, intrapersonal, interpersonal, naturalistic and existential. Keywords: Child. Pretend play. Playfulness. Toys and games.
