Preface

First and foremost, it is our great pleasure to welcome all of our invited speakers, delegates, presenters, and participants of The 6 th International Conference on Agriculture and Life Sciences (ICALS) with theme “Upgrading Industrial Agriculture Innovation To Actualize Food Sovereignty”. We are here to communicate and disseminate information and research results in agriculture as part of future agricultural development planning. Through this event, we share problems, ideas, knowledge, and technology to develop effective and sustainable solutions. We hope that this activity can support the realization of the plans and programs of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia. This conference was held on 30 th July 2024 in the Auditorium of University of Jember, East Java, Indonesia. It is an ongoing effort by the Faculty of Agriculture University of Jember, starting from The 1 st International Seminar and Workshop of Plant Industry (ISWPI) on 2017, The 2 nd International Seminar and Workshop of Plant Industry (ISWPI) on 2018, The 3 rd International Conference on Agriculture and Life Sciences (ICALS) on 2019, The 4 th International Conference on Agriculture and Life Sciences (ICALS) on 2020, and The 5 th International Conference on Agriculture and Life Sciences (ICALS) on 2021. The 6 th ICALS is organized by the Faculty of Agriculture University of Jember in collaboration with The Communication Forum of Indonesian Higher Education of Agriculture (FKPTPI) Eastern Region and supported by PT Saraswanti Anugerah Makmur Tbk.
