The welfare level of horticulture farmer households with farmer household income exchange rate (NTPRP)
Abstract Due to its high degree of horticulture agriculture and quickly expanding tourism industry, Ngadisari Village is one of the villages in Sukapura District, Probolinggo Regency, which is a vital economic sector. Ngadisari Village is dominated by the Tengger tribe who still hold on to tradition. The preparation and implementation of traditional ceremonies of the Tengger tribe affect the level of household expenditure, while farming, tourism, or other business activities carried out affect the level of household income. The level of household welfare is directly correlated with the level of household income and expenditure. The goal of this study is to ascertain the degree of farmer welfare as determined by the Farmer Household Income Exchange Rate (NTPRP) concept. NTPRP is the comparative value between the total income obtained by the household and the total household expenditure. This study uses descriptive methods and quantitative analysis. According to the study’s findings, the majority of farmer households can be classified as rich as their NTPRP is more than 1.
