57 (4A) Feasibility of pupillometry in concussion diagnosis and recovery monitoring in collegiate football athletes
The predominant profiles were Cognitive with a mean of 1.13, Mood with a mean of 0.92, and Visual/Ocular with a mean of 0.92.The Auditory profile's mean was 0.80, Migraine mean was 0.74, Cervical mean was 0.73, Vestibular mean was 0.67, Sleep mean was 0.66, and Autonomic was 0.44 (figure 1).Conclusion Cognitive Fatigue, Mood and Visual profiles presented as the predominant symptom clusters for the PPCS group based on means.More thorough understanding of symptom clusters in chronic PPCS patients population may offer clinical utility to optimize evaluation and targeted treatment strategies.Further analysis of symptom clustering trends, via stratification of PPCS into time-since-injury subgroups, may reveal critical periods for symptom intervention and management.
