Quasi-2D Ruddlesden-Popper perovskite flexible photodetector arrays for optical imaging

With the development of the new optoelectronic industry, flexible optoelectronic devices have attracted more and more attention due to their advantages of lightweight, portability, wearability, and low manufacturing cost. In this talk, we present the preparation of a flexible perovskite photodetector array using stable quasi-2D Ruddlesden-Popper perovskite films as photosensitive materials deposited on a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate.[1,2] To satisfy the PDs arrays need for high performances, we propose two treatments which greatly improve the photoelectric response of the films. They are combined with a surface treatment process that allowed a controllable synthesis of large area 2D perovskite film arrays with precise pixel position and controllable morphology. The flexible PDs array exhibits excellent optoelectronic properties with high responsivity, large on/off current ratio, a broad spectral response, good Bending resistance and high optical imaging capability. Abstract
