Stable copper-based metal–organic framework-supported Pt–Bi nanoparticles for selective oxidation of glycerol into dihydroxyacetone

Cu-MOF promotes oxygen adsorption and activation, generates more OH*, regulates the d-band center of Pt, and enhances catalyst stability. Thereby, the conversion of glycerol is accelerated and a high yield of DHA is achieved on Pt–Bi/Cu-MOF.

Abstract

Cu-MOF promotes oxygen adsorption and activation, generates more OH*, regulates the d-band center of Pt, and enhances catalyst stability. Thereby, the conversion of glycerol is accelerated and a high yield of DHA is achieved on Pt–Bi/Cu-MOF.
