Tuning the electronic structure of BODIPY-coumarin ratiometric fluorescent sensors for accurate microviscosity monitoring applications
Ratiometric fluorescent viscosity sensors based on BODIPY and coumarin fluorophores are presented, featuring an ester bridge aimed at minimizing the influence of polarity, thus leading to improved analytical responses within a wide viscosity range.
