Trivariate Fundamental Matrix-Based Predictor Feedback Control for Discrete-Time Linear Systems With Time-Variant State-Delays and Distinct Input-Delays

In this paper, the issue of stabilization is investigated for the discrete-time linear system with time-variant state delays and distinct input delays. The trivariant fundamental matrix is adopted to construct prediction scheme with a concise form for the considered systems. By using the proposed predictors, the model reduction method can be applied to transform the input delay systems into input-delay-free systems, step by step. Under the reduced model, the feedback control laws are designed to address the stabilization problem for the original systems. Finally, two numerical examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract

In this paper, the issue of stabilization is investigated for the discrete-time linear system with time-variant state delays and distinct input delays. The trivariant fundamental matrix is adopted to construct prediction scheme with a concise form for the considered systems. By using the proposed predictors, the model reduction method can be applied to transform the input delay systems into input-delay-free systems, step by step. Under the reduced model, the feedback control laws are designed to address the stabilization problem for the original systems. Finally, two numerical examples are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
