Reducing Maternal Deaths From Hemorrhage: Seeking the Low-Hanging Fruit
( BJOG . 2024;131(8):1025–1028. doi: 10.1111/1471-0528.17753) Recently, the World Health Organization (WHO) published a postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) guideline to reduce maternal mortality using the principles of research, standards, advocacy, and implementation. This article is a commentary centering on how much can be achieved and what practical interventions can be implemented even with limited resources.
