Pregnancy Outcomes Post–Kidney Transplantation Across 23 Years
( Aust N Z J Obstet Gynaecol . 2024;64(3): 269–276. doi: 10.1111/ajo.13786) Because the number of kidney transplants has increased since 2000, information regarding the impact of pregnancy on these patients is important to consider for prospective mothers who have had a kidney transplant. The Australia and New Zealand Dialysis and Transplant Registry, the current data system most previous studies have used in Australia, was last updated in 2016 and is missing key obstetric and perinatal outcome parameters. The authors of this study primarily aimed to report kidney transplant patient’s pregnancy outcomes and secondarily neonatal and kidney transplant outcomes.
