A Case Report – A Case of Sturge–Weber Syndrome with Unilateral Advanced Glaucoma with Choroidal Hemangioma
Sturge–Weber syndrome (SWS) is a rare, nonhereditary developmental condition characterized by a hamartomatous vascular proliferation involving the tissues of the brain and face. We reported a case of an 11-year-old boy with features of facial port-wine stains over the left side with unilateral advanced glaucoma and choroidal hemangioma suggestive of SWS. Initially, the case was managed by topical and oral antiglaucoma medications but eventually required trabeculectomy. We discussed posttrabeculectomy complications and management in our report.
