Redesain Kereta Lanskap Menurunkan Beban Kerja dan Keluhan Muskuloskeltal Pekerja Penanam Pohon Kelapa
The utilization of landscape trolleys in planting coconut trees has been demonstrated to be a more expeditious method than manual labor. However, this method of planting is not without its inherent risks, as the potential for work accidents arises due to the physical demands placed upon the workers. This is attributed to an incompatibility between the support structure of the trolley and the diameter of the tree being planted, resulting in a misalignment. Consequently, a redesign of the trolley is imperative to address this issue. The objective of this study is to ascertain the efficacy of the redesigned landscape stroller in reducing workload and musculoskeletal disorders. The experimental Cross Over Design research design was employed in this study, with 16 coconut tree growers in Sanur village serving as the research subjects. Workload was measured by increasing the work pulse rate, and musculoskeletal disorders were recorded using the Nordic Body Map questionnaire. Data analysis employed a t-paired test with a significance level of 5%. The landscape stroller redesign resulted in a 7.1% reduction in workload and 11.13% reduction in musculoskeletal disorders. The redesign of landscape strollers holds promise as a strategy to enhance the performance and productivity of coconut tree growers.
