HUBUNGAN PRESTASI KEJURUAN DAN PRAKTIK KERJA INDUSTRI DENGAN KESIAPAN KERJA SISWA KELAS XII TEKNIK KENDARAAN RINGAN SMK KARTIKA V-I BALIKPAPAN

Abstract This study aims to determine: (1) contribution of vocational achievement to the work readiness of class students (2) contribution of industrial work practices to the work readiness of class students (3) contribution of vocational achievement and industrial work practices to the work readiness of class XII TKR students at SMK Kartika V-I Balikpapan. The sample of this research was 94 students of class XII TKR. Data collection was carried out by through questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used simple regression analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis. The results showed: (1) vocational achievement has a positive and significant relationship with student work readiness 8.3%. The significance test uses the T test with the calculation results showing the tcount value is greater than ttable (4.500>1.985) at a significance level of 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.425 (2) industrial work practices have a positive and significant relationship with student work readiness 54.7 % Significance test using T test with calculation results that show the value of tcount is greater than ttable (11.646>1.985) at a significance level of 0.05 with a correlation coefficient of 0.772 (3) vocational achievement and industrial work practices have a positive and significant relationship with work readiness students 63%. The significance test uses the F test with the calculation results showing the Fcount value is greater than Ftable (4071.522> 3.09) at a significance level of 0.05 with a coefficient. Key Words: Vocational Achievement, Industrial Work Practices, and Work Readiness Students Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) kontribusi prestasi kejuruan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas (2) kontribusi praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas (3) kontribusi prestasi kejuruan dan praktik kerja industri terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII TKR di SMK Kartika V-I Balikpapan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII TKR sebanyak 94 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan teknik analisis regresi sederhana dan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) prestasi kejuruan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kesiapan kerja siswa 8,3%. Uji signifikansi menggunakan Uji T dengan hasil perhitungan yang menunjukkan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (4,500>1,985) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,425 (2) praktik kerja industri terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kesiapan kerja siswa 54,7% Uji signifikansi menggunakan Uji T dengan hasil perhitungan yang menunjukkan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel (11,646>1,985) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,772 (3) prestasi kejuruan dan praktik kerja industri terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kesipapan kerja siswa 63%. Uji signifikansi menggunakan Uji F dengan hasil perhitungan yang menunjukkan nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (4071,522>3,09) pada taraf signifikansi 0,05 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,794.
