Producción de plántulas de banano aplicando Bencil Amino Purina en cámaras térmicas

Ecuador is the main exporter of banana in the world, so it is necessary to look for alternatives to maintain yields, for which it is of vital importance that the seedlings are healthy and vigorous, that is why the objective of this research is to produce banana seedlings by applying doses of Benzyl Amino Purine by the method of thermal chambers. The trial was carried out at Cantón La Mana, Ecuador, using a completely randomized design with a factorial arrangement, where Factor A is the doses of BAP (0,10,20,30 and 40 mg L-1) and Factor B is the banana varieties (Gros Michael, Williams and Valery). The variables evaluated were number and length of roots: fresh weight of aerial and root biomass. The results of the study coincide with those expressed by different authors about the advantages of the application of BPA in thermal chambers. In conclusion, the application of BPA had a significant effect on banana growth variables, with a differential behavior depending on the cultivar evaluated, which will determine the dose to be applied to obtain optimum yields
