REPRESENTASI KORUPSI, KOLUSI, DAN NEPOTISME DALAM NOVEL TERUSLAH BODOH JANGAN PINTAR KARYA TERE LIYE

The problem of this research is to explore the representation of corruption, collusion, and nepotism in the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye. The purpose of the research is to describe the representation of corruption, collusion, and nepotism using the sociology of literature approach. The study was conducted using descriptive qualitative research method with the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye as the data source. Data analysis techniques used are pairing and agih techniques. Based on the analysis of the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar by Tere Liye, the findings state that there are representations of corruption, collusion, and nepotism that are also similar in the lives of Indonesian people. Representation of corruption behavior, for example, is related to the abuse of authority to enrich oneself. The representation of collusion is an illegal act of cooperation to achieve certain goals without thinking about the adverse effects caused. Meanwhile, in the representation of nepotism, the author provides a story about the efforts of fraudulent behavior that uses positions for interests related to family relationships. A depiction that can certainly also be found in various lines of community life. Therefore, with the substance contained in it, the author suggests that the novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar can be brought into grade X Indonesian language learning classes in the independent curriculum. Because anti-corruption material is implicitly and explicitly conveyed by the author and is needed as an anti-corruption education effort in high school education. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah upaya mengeksplorasi representasi korupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme yang terdapat di dalam novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar karya Tere Liye. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan representasi korupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Kajian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar karya Tere Liye sebagai sumber data. Teknik Analsisi data yang digunakan adalah teknik padan dan agih. Berdasarkan analisis dari novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar karya Tere Liye hasil temuan menyebutkan bahwa terdapat representasi korupsi, kolusi, dan nepotisme yang juga serupa terjadi di kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Representasi perilaku korupsi misalnya berkenaan dengan penyelahgunaan wewenang untuk memperkaya diri. Representasi kolusi adalah tindakan kerjasama yang ilegal guna mencapai tujuan tertentu tanpa memikirkan dampak buruk yang ditimbulkan. Sedangkan pada representasi nepotisme, pengarang memberikan kisahan tentang upaya perilaku curang yang menggunakan jabatan untuk kepentingan yang berkenaan dengan hubungan keluarga. Sebuah penggambaran yang tentunya juga dapat ditemukan di beragam lini kehidupan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, dengan substansi yang terkandung di dalamnya, penulis menyarankan agar novel Teruslah Bodoh Jangan Pintar dapat dibawa masuk ke kelas pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas X pada kurikulum merdeka. Sebab materi anti korupsi secara tersirat dan tersurat disampaikan pengarang dan diperlukan sebagai upaya pendidikan anti korupsi di jenajang pendidikan SMA.
