Formation of Students’ Readiness to Pedagogical Design of Educational Activity

The readiness of students studying in the specialty “Preschool Education” for the pedagogical design of educational activities is presented as a process and result of professional training in a higher education institution. Scientific, methodological and content-instrumental support of this process has been developed, which is a necessary pedagogical condition for the formation of specialized competencies among students. The necessity of their theoretical training in the basics of educational marketing, design and pedagogical construction, providing practical activity as a preschool teacher, is substantiated. By the method of scientific research, the author defines the modeling of the matrix of specialized competencies of students in the pedagogical design of educational activities based on the results of content analysis of educational standards and sample curricula. The model meaningfully fills the process of students’ formation of readiness to make relevant decisions in a situation of uncertainty, and structurally represents the code of competence (specialized competence – SC), the code of the academic discipline in the curriculum of the institution of higher education and the name of the competence. The developed matrix contains scientifically based components of methodological support of the educational process in the institution of higher education. The technology of developing curricula in accordance with modern requirements for educational and program documentation in the Republic of Belarus in a number of academic disciplines of higher education institutions, namely: “Marketing in preschool education”, “Designing the educational process in the information environment”, “Fundamentals of psychological and pedagogical design” is presented. This aspect significantly characterizes the instrumental support of the process of forming students’ readiness for pedagogical design of educational activities in an institution of higher education. The substantial component of the model of formation of students’ readiness for the pedagogical design of educational activities, which is provided with educational and program documentation, is characterized. The pedagogical conditions of professional training of students in an institution of higher education are highlighted on the basis of the matrix of specialized competencies of students developed by us. The research and educational materials presented in this article can be used in the future in the formation of readiness for pedagogical design of educational activities among students of institutions of secondary special education at the level of algorithmic actions.
