A IMPORTÂNCIA DO DIAGNÓSTICO E PLANEJAMENTO EM PACIENTES COM NECESSIDADE DE IMPLANTES E SUA RELAÇÃO COM MOVIMENTO ORTODÔNTICO

This study addresses the importance of diagnosis and treatment planning in patients requiring dental implants, emphasizing the relationship between implantology and orthodontics for successful outcomes. It is a literature review based on scientific articles published between 2006 and 2023, sourced from databases such as SciELO, PubMed, Google Scholar, and other specialized journals in dentistry. Topics such as osseointegration, the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in planning, the influence of periodontal biotype, and the interdisciplinary approach required for optimal results were discussed. Studies show that reverse planning, combined with advanced technologies, enhances predictability and treatment personalization. It is concluded that accurate diagnosis, proper planning, and interdisciplinary teamwork are essential to achieve aesthetic, functional, and long-lasting results in oral rehabilitation with dental implants.
