Assessment of the state, trends and development potential of agriculture in Russia

The article shows the state and development trends of agriculture in Russia, and assesses the solution to the problem of food security. It reflects the contribution of agricultural organizations, peasant (farming) households and households to the production of the main types of agricultural products, measures of their state support and the state of the economy. It is concluded that the country's agriculture has great potential, the full implementation of which involves the creation of more favorable conditions for all forms of management, including small ones. Among the priorities are such as increasing budget and innovation support, increasing the availability of loans, promoting the development of consumer cooperation and contractual relations between small agricultural producers and large formations of the agro-industrial complex
