INTEGRATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL INITIATIVES INTO THE TRANSPORT INDUSTRY: METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY

The article is devoted to the development of a methodological approach to the integration of environmental and social initiatives into the Russian transport industry, taking into account economic feasibility. The key issues of sustainable transport development are considered, including high CO2 emissions, social accessibility and working conditions of workers. A methodological approach based on the assessment of environmental, social and economic indicators is proposed, as well as an analysis of the economic effectiveness of initiatives using the example of Russian companies (Moscow Metro, Russian Railways, FESCO). The results of the study show that the introduction of environmental and social initiatives, despite high initial costs, reduces operating costs, attracts investments and increases the competitiveness of the industry. Special attention is paid to Russian specifics, including sanctions restrictions and lack of financing, as well as recommendations for Russian transport companies.
