PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENYIMAK SISWA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA YOUTUBE PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DI KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 1 TUHEMBERUA TAHUN PEMBELAJARAN 2023/2024

The purpose of this study is to improve students' ability to listen to review texts in learning Indonesian using YouTube media. This study will be conducted and implemented using Classroom Action Research. The research subjects were 32 students in class VIII-2 of SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua, 12 male students and 20 female students. The results of this study indicate that the lowest score was 40.3 and the highest score was 74.5 with a classical completion percentage of 34.37%. Cycle II, the lowest score was 74 and the highest score was 95.9 with a classical percentage of 99.5%, reaching the target of classical completion that had been determined at 77.25%. The results of the observation of the research cycle I at the first meeting were 27.2% and the second meeting was 66.6%. The results of the observation of the research cycle II, the first meeting was 77.25% and the second meeting was 90.9%. It is concluded that the use of YouTube media in Indonesian language learning can improve good listening skills in class VIII-2. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa menyimak teks ulasan dalam pembelajaran bahasa indoensia dengan menggunakan media YouTobe. Penelitian dilakukan dan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP Negeri 1 Tuhemberua yang berjumlah 32 siswa, laki-laki 12 orang siswa dan perempuan 20 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai terendah 40,3 dan nilai tertinggi 74,5 dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 34,37 %. Siklus II nilai terendah 74 dan nilai tertinggi 95,9 dengan persentase klasikal 99,5 % telah mencapai target ketuntasan klasikal yang telah ditentukan 77,25%. Hasil observasi penelitian siklus I pada pertemuan pertama 27,2 % dan pertemuan kedua 66,6%. Hasil observasi penelitian siklus II pertemuan pertama 77,25% dan pertemuan kedua 90,9%. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media YouTobe dalam pembelajaran bahasa indonesia dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan menyimak yang baik terhadap kelas VIII-2.
