COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STAFF MOTIVATION PROGRAMS IN THE FMCG SPHERE

At present, there is no doubt that the success of each company largely depends on its employees: their qualifications, work discipline, clarity and quality of performance of assigned tasks. It is the personnel that ensures the effective use of any other types of resources available to the company and reflects its economic indicators and competitiveness. It can be considered proven that the secret of effective human capital management lies in an accurate understanding of people’s motivation. Only by understanding what motivates a person to work, what motives underlie his actions, can an effective personnel management system be created. To do this, you need to know how certain motives arise and evolve, how and in what ways this evolution can be managed. The head of the organization should always remember that even ideal plans and a perfect organizational structure are meaningless if the level of involvement of performers in this work is critically low. The relevance of the presented article lies in the fact that the assessment of motivation systems in companies seems to be a rather non-trivial task. This is largely due to the lack of a unified methodology and evaluation criteria, as well as the fact that most changes are difficult to measure quantitatively, and their effect usually manifests itself in the long term. In this regard, the authors attempted to conduct a comparative analysis of motivation programs that can be considered benchmarks for most domestic enterprises based on existing analytics for a leading company in the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sector. The results of such an analysis will be assessments of the contribution of a particular program to the overall result of the organization’s motivation system. These assessments, with a fairly high degree of probability, will be fair for the overwhelming majority of domestic companies engaged in the FMCG sector.
