TECHNICAL INSPECTION OF STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS
The technical inspection of structural elements has gained particular significance in modern conditions due to the increasing volume of aging residential and industrial facilities requiring assessment of their technical condition and safety. Timely detection of defects and damage helps to prevent emergencies, optimize repair and reconstruction costs, and extend the service life of buildings and structures. This article explores modern methods and approaches to the technical inspection of structural elements. It examines the key stages of the inspection process, including visual examination, instrumental measurements, and laboratory testing. Special attention is given to the application of innovative non-destructive testing and diagnostic technologies. Typical defects and damages to structures are analyzed, as well as methods for assessing their technical condition. Recommendations are provided for documenting inspection results and developing technical reports.
