Partial Sequencing and Protease Profiling of Novel Bacillus sp. PDB-30 isolated from Dairy Effluent

This study introduces a novel and effective alkaline protease-producing bacterium Bacillus tropicus PDB-30 (identified by 16S rRNA sequencing), under the GARS (Generally Recognized as Safe) group. An 848-bp nucleotide sequence was submitted to GenBank (Accession No.: PP396798). It has commercial use in food processing and detergent sectors.
