Models and evaluation of functional suitability of software

Purpose. This article investigates the methods and models for evaluating the functional suitability of software. The research aims to enhance existing approaches to assessing software functional suitability through analysis, specification, and the development of recommendations for application, with the goal of improving the accuracy and completeness of the evaluation Methodology. The methods of analysis and synthesis were used to study the problem of assessing the functional suitability of software, creating models for assessing the functional suitability of software. The results of the research encompass a developed set of sub-characteristics pertaining to software functional suitability and refined models intended for the evaluation of functional suitability. Scientific novelty lies in the development of models for the evaluation of software functional suitability Practical significance lies in the fact that, based on the developed model, it is possible to develop certification models and to conduct a substantiated analysis of the expediency of acquiring specific software. Keywords: functional suitability, software, functional completeness, functional appropriateness.
