Evaluating the Impact of a 12-Week Exercise Intervention on Non-Specific Low Back Pain: A Longitudinal Study
This research demonstrates that a 12-week exercise program focusing on core stability, and joint mobility effectively reduces non-specific low back pain (NSLBP) and improves functional movement. Participants showed a significant decrease in pain intensity, as measured by the Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale (QBPDS), with scores dropping from 34.83 to 23.17. Functional Movement Screen (FMS) results also improved from 14.50 to 21.17, indicating better core stability, hip, and shoulder mobility. These findings underscore the importance of targeted exercise interventions in addressing NSLBP and enhancing overall mobility.
