A note on constacyclic codes over a finite commutative local ring with residue field Fp

Given a finite commutative local ring with identity, residue field $\mathbb{F}_{p}$, $p\geq 2$ a prime, and a length $n$ such that $\gcd(p,n)=1$, linear constacyclic codes over such rings are studied by means of idempotent elements. Under such conditions, the present work involves both: chain and non-chain rings.

Abstract

Given a finite commutative local ring with identity, residue field $\mathbb{F}_{p}$, $p\geq 2$ a prime, and a length $n$ such that $\gcd(p,n)=1$, linear constacyclic codes over such rings are studied by means of idempotent elements. Under such conditions, the present work involves both: chain and non-chain rings.
