FUNDAMENTALS OF REMOTE (VIRTUAL) TEAM MANAGEMENT: SCIENTOMETRIC CONCEPT ANALYSIS
The rapid development of information technology and the processes of globalization and integration, on the one hand, and the restrictive phenomena in the global economy caused by the pandemic and the escalation of foreign policy conflicts, on the other, have prompted the growth of remote employment. In such circumstances, developing effective remote management mechanisms is essential. This involves adapting traditional management methods to new working conditions. This article presents the results of a scientometric analysis of the concept of a “remote (virtual) team.” The author presents a model of the four “pillars” necessary for the successful management of remote (virtual) teams. The author refers to these pillars as trust, project management, effective communication, and leadership. This article will be of interest to theoretical researchers dealing with management and personnel leadership issues, as well as practical managers, personnel management specialists, and organizational heads interested in optimizing personnel management processes for remote work. The research results can serve as a basis for developing practical recommendations aimed at improving the competitiveness and effectiveness of teamwork in modern organizations.
