DNA fingerprints of helminth parasites from freshwater fishes of Marathwada Region, (M.S) India

DNA fingerprinting is one of the most significant discoveries of the late twentieth century and has transformed forensic investigations. The DNA fingerprints of helminth parasites viz., Senga rupchandensis n.sp., Orientocreadium striatusae n.sp., from freshwater fish, Channa striatus (Bloch, 1793) and Circumoncobothrium jadhavae n.sp., Genarchopsis paithanensis n.sp., Allocreadium khami n.sp. from Mastacembelus armatus (Lecepede, 1800) from different region of Marathwada of Maharashtra state was extracted using PCR based ISSR four primers, 811-GAG AGA GAG AGA GAG AC: 812-GAG AGA GAG AGA GAG AA; 814-CTC TCT CTC TCT CTC TA and 816-CAC ACA CAC ACA CAC AT. The bands were shown between 170 bps. to 2230 bp four arbitrary primers used for detecting DNA fingerprints. The dendrogram and bands were observed in each parasite from 05 to 15.
