Escala de autopercepción de comportamiento de riesgo, un camino a la prevención de accidentes laborales

The Self-Perception Scale of Risk Behavior (EACR) is a tool grounded in Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) aimed at assessing psychological factors linked to workplace accident risk. It evaluates five dimensions: impulsivity, aggressiveness, regulatory compliance, attention, and substance use tendency. Its goal is to classify workers based on risk levels to enable more targeted interventions. Supported by the Triconditional Theory (knowing how, wanting to, and being able to do it), EACR complements direct observation with a broader understanding of behavior, enhancing occupational safety and fostering safer workplace environments.
