The multifunctionality of social network discourse and the picture of the world it forms

The article considers the introduction of the concepts of social network discourse and social network picture of the world into scientific discourse. The typological features of social network discourse are highlighted, which allow us to consider it as a subspecies of media discourse, along with such varieties as journalistic discourse (typical for print media), radio discourse, television discourse, PR-discourse, advertising discourse. We focuse on the polysemiotic and multifunctional nature of social network discourse. The social network picture of the world is regarded as a derivative of social network discourse. Its construction is carried out in several directions. The first is due to the organizational potential of social networks, the manipulative mechanisms used during communacation. The second direction involves the departure of users into the world for "their own", interaction, which results in the formation of subcommunication focused on the virtual world. The third direction relates to the idea of semiosis as an infinitely developing net: users of the social nets in the process of interaction "weave" a net, the nodes of which are posts and comments. The study is based on the material of the most popular social network among young people VKontakte and social networks with a question-and-answer form of communication Ask.ru, Grustnogram and Saywordme.
