INTERNAL MONOLOGUE IN THE FILM STORY V. M. SHUKSHINA «KALINA KRASNAYA»
The article describes the features of the internal monologue in the film story «Kalina Krasnaya» (“red viburnum”) by V. M. Shukshin. In the course of the analysis, it was established that fragments of internal monological speech are compositionally and meaningfully related to the crisis communication situations that the main character lives. The internal monologue in the film story is a technique by which the author reveals the psychology of the hero and largely explains the essence of his actions. The article reveals the role of topical, indirect and retrospective internal monologues. Their following functions are identified and characterized: characterological, ideological, plot-forming and compositional. An internal monologue is highlighted and described, which is an application of author and character layers. The presented material is planned to be included in the dictionary entry for the encyclopedia of V. M. Shukshin’s work «Kalina Krasnaya», on which a team of scientists from Altai State Pedagogical University is currently working.
