Enhancement of Solubility of Anti-Inflammatory Drug By Using Different Solubility Enhancement Techniques
Celecoxib (CXB) is classified as a Class II molecule in the Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS), characterized by high permeability but low solubility in water. This limited solubility results in variable absorption and reduced bioavailability when taken orally. To address these challenges, dry co-milling technology, which is suitable for industrial applications, can be employed. This study aimed to develop and optimize nanoformulations of CXB using dry co-milling technology, applying a quality by design approach to enhance solubility, dissolution rate, and oral bioavailability.
