The Accessibility and Availability of Assistive Technologies inInclusive Educational Practice

Accessibility of information and of the educational environment plays an important role in achieving and promoting inclusive education. Assistive technologies are needed to remove accessibility barriers and to create an educational environment adapted to each child. Although they offer many benefits to increase the participation of children with disabilities in education, this research illustrates the difficulties of some schools in acquiring and providing assistive technologies for children with disabilities and the need for teacher training to develop the necessary skills to use them
