PROBLEMS OF MANAGEMENT OF LARGE RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS

The paper examines the problem of managing large, complexly structured religious non-profit organizations in Russia. The authors analyze the existing methods of managing religious structures and their application in practice, identifying specific problematic issues. It is noted that, despite active research by the academic community into the management of non-profit organizations, the specifics of managing religious organizations remain insufficiently explored. The complexity of assessing the effectiveness of religious organizations is emphasized, which arises from the dualism of organizational values. A systematic approach to studying this issue and the need for a methodology for evaluating the performance of religious organizations are proposed.
