THE IMPACT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN SOCIO-ECONOMIC RELATIONS

The article conducts a thorough study of the impact of information and communication technologies on the formation of a knowledge economy. The object of the study in the article is the process of transforming modern socio-economic relations into a knowledge economy. The subject of the study was information and communication technologies as a driving force in the formation of a knowledge economy. The purpose of writing the article was to find a connection between the development of information and communication technologies and their impact on the formation of a modern system of socio-economic relations – the knowledge economy. Thus, the tasks of writing the article are: determining the connection between the development of ICT and the formation of a modern system of socio-economic relations; analyzing global indicators of the level of ICT development, identifying leaders and trends; analyzing the dynamics of the development of key companies that form the global ICT market; identifying obstacles to its further development. The author determines the connection between ICT and the development of human civilization, and emphasizes the special role of these technologies in the formation of modern socio-economic relations of the knowledge economy. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of the main international indicators that measure the level of development of information and communication technologies in individual countries, such as IDI and NRI. The essence of their calculation was revealed and the dynamics of changes in these indices in leading countries and Ukraine were analyzed. The author analyzed the trends in changes in the main indicators of economic activity of companies with the highest level of market capitalization in the world. It was established that the leaders of this list are hightech companies that influence the formation of modern ICT. The relationship between the manifestations of the dynamics of changes in NRI indicators and the performance indicators of the specified companies was revealed. The article identified the main problems that hinder both the development of ICT and the formation of a knowledge economy and emphasized further scientific research in this direction.
